About Telederm Case Discussion

NSC Telederm Case discussion is a clinicopathological case discussion portal for the medical staff of NSC. It is a portal for medical staff to post live cases for discussion among trainees and dermatologists in NSC.

The objective of the Telederm Case Discussion portal is to encourage NSC medical staff to communicate and share their experience and expertise in the management of interesting dermatology patients. We hope that this website would be another means of enhancing our standard of patient care and our knowledge.

The editors welcome any suitable cases to be posted into the portal for discussion. This website is meant as a virtual grand round for faculty members to post in cases for discussion any time of the day. The cases to be presented can be unusual clinical manifestations of a common disease process for educational purpose, presentation of a classic case of a rare clinical entity for educational purpose, presentation of clinical cases for diagnostic assistance or presentation of a case for therapeutic assistance. Any medical staff are invited to submit cases for discussion for education purpose. All NSC medical staffs are invited to give their comments freely.

How do I participate in the NSC Telederm Case Discussion?

Simply log into the website.

You will have to log in your userid and password which will be assigned to you by the editor.

You will see a current case page displayed. You can contribute to the discussion by submitting your comments in the comment box. The discussion will be displayed after editing by the editor.

You can submit a new case for discussion and for opinions/comments from your colleagues by clicking the new case icon and then enter the details of your case together with photographs. You submission will be edited by the editor and will then be queue for display and discussion.

How do I return to cases which were discussed previously?

All cases discussed will be archives. You will be able to access any achived cases discussion from the website and review past discussion and add further comments as an after thoughts and an NSC staff will be able to continue with the discussion in the archived cases
